Although the content of my previous blog entries would indicate otherwise, Macworld wasn’t all play. Tuesday and Wednesday were devoted to User Conference classes. Here’s a quick summary of all the classes I attended.
Tuesday started very, very early, with a 3:30 a.m wake-up call for the big keynote. A long wait was made pleasant by great company, and it ended with a Brush with Greatness™.
Going in, I knew that Monday was going to be my last chance to take it easy. The rest of the week was booked solid with classes and parties, and Tuesday was going to be The Longest Day.
If the Word of the Day for yesterday was “eating”, today’s Word would have to be “walking.” A very long-but-fun walking tour of San Francisco was the perfect way for 15 strangers to get to know one another.
The first day of my Macworld Excursion was a long day, no doubt about it. Flight was good, we established home base at our hotel, and even took time to meet up with a n00b.
